Urban Photo Festival 2017

I have the pleasure again to be the Masterclass Director at The Mango Lab for this year’s Urban Photo Festival. Last year we brought to the festival World Press Photo winner Dario Mitidieri who took participants through individual micro-photo projects entrenched in street documentary photography. Keeping things hush hush for the moment until the official announcement by UPF, I am equally excited about this year’s Masterclass presenter. I should have an official announcement up in the next week or two.

Exhibition

Images from a recent series challenging the criteria  and expectations found in traditional landscape photography. Exhibition at Central St Martins School of Art and Design until September 4, 2017.

Reportage Update

The term has now ended for my Reportage course at Central Saint Martin’s, King’s Cross. A group which pulled through a national election, the worst fire in a century and numerous terrorist attacks in London. Moving away from such “top” stories, the selected project is a quieter introspection on living in London.

Speaking at the SNAP Photo Festival in Cardigan, Wales

Had the pleasure of returning to the SNAP Photo Festival this year to present a workshop on moving into editorial photography and commissions. Met many trailblazing young creatives who I hope to see march on towards their aspirations of contributing their craft to the commercial markets.
