Long before Instagram, still in its infancy, some of us were roaming around the earth, in beta-mode, testing and playing with a new alchemy of photography found in camera phones. It was an exciting time as we knew not where the technology was going to carry us. The Sony k800i was a dandy little thing. With powerful flash and zeiss lens it suited the snapshot aesthetic quite well.

These are digital archives of the last days of the old Central Saint Martins building at Holborn, London, UK. Everything was changing quite quickly. The quiet moments of a by-gone era at this historic site were slipping away into a whisper. Meanwhile we were capturing images for the first time on phones with a camera built in.
